On the occasion of the period of maximum flowering of the collection of Agapants in the Gardens of Villa della Pergola, with thousands of specimens creating a unique scenography overlooking the sea of the Riviera, the Nove Restaurant which is immersed in the Gardens, unveils the vegetarian tasting menu "Naturalia" , thanks to the use of products from the Orto Rampante and the Gardens.
The Gardens of Villa della Pergola house some of the most important botanical collections in Europe, including that of Agapants: thousands of specimens of over 500 different types transform the park with a unique scenography and Alassio in the European Capital of Agapants, has awakened and begins to amaze customers and visitors. And the Nove Restaurant of Villa della Pergola, which is surrounded, presented and revealed by the gardens that won the "The most beautiful park in Italy 2022" award, on the occasion of one of the periods of maximum scenographic splendor and the arrival of the summer season, the new “Naturalia” menu, the first entirely vegetarian since the arrival of the new Chef Antonio Romano.
“Since my arrival we have changed the dishes gradually, studying and trying to learn as much as possible from the “Orto Rampante” and the Gardens, precious in supplying the kitchen with fruit, vegetables and aromatic herbs. By observing and waiting for the right ripening of fruit and vegetables" says Chef Antonio Romano, "the dishes have evolved naturally in these months, which have been necessary to get to know the territory, the suppliers, carry out a thousand tasting and composition tests, and have fun with the products, fully understanding their quality and characteristics".
The menu consists of five courses, which will vary over the summer based on the vegetables and products that are most suitable and ready to join the journey.
