The restoration and the creation of new pergolas had permitted to bring to life the collection of Wisteria, which counts 34 different varieties in shape and colour.
These flowers were particularly loved by the Hanbury family, owner of Villa della Pergola throughout the 19th century.

The blossoming was so important to the Family that they used to celebrate it every year with a 'Wistery Party' thrown by Ruth Hanbury.

They blossom in March until the end of April.

The collection, certified by SOI, the Italian Horticultural Society, is the most important all around Italy.
