From Friday 21 November, following the great success of last season, special visits return with the possibility of visiting the interior of Villa della Pergola and its Museum along with the Gardens.
In the autumn and winter seasons the Gardens remain open, and after the success of last season, visitors will once again have the opportunity to admire the Museum and the interiors of Villa della Pergola, normally closed to the public.
The visit to the Gardens, "The most beautiful park in Italy" and Partner Garden of the RHS, will be enriched with an exclusive itinerary that combines nature, art and history, a history that is increasingly cited as an example of good practice in the protection and valorization of cultural heritage, also thanks to the numerous recognitions, awards and conferences that attest to its commitment and value.
The special visits, which will also include access to areas usually off limits to visitors, with views of the majolica dome, are an opportunity to experience this rescue operation and the 150-year history that Villa della Pergola preserves up close.
Each visit is a unique experience: the Park is alive, constantly changing day after day and astonishing with ever-changing colors, scents and scenery: the blooms of Hibiscus, Lantana, Imperial Dahlia, Papyrifer Tetrapanax, the foliage and fruiting citrus trees will enrich the visits. Among the inhabitants of these enchanted Gardens it is possible to spot red squirrels, hedgehogs, robins and falcons along the way.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the warm autumn colours and enjoy the characteristic atmosphere of this period.
Special guided tours will be available every day by reservation only, in two shifts: at 11.30 am and 3.00 pm.
