The Gardens of Villa della Pergola will participate, on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 June 2021, at the initiative called "Appuntamento in Giardino".
The event, promoted by the APGI-Association of Parks and Gardens of Italy with the support of Ales and the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, was born in accordance with the "Rendez-vous aux jardins" initiative, which will take place simultaneously in numerous European countries. and is conceived as an authentic "garden party": it invites the general public to discover, and especially this year to "rediscover" the surprising historical, artistic, botanical and landscape richness of Italian gardens: from great historical sites to small private gardens. A series of meetings, events, readings and special activities as a cultural offer for the whole family.
The event will also offer the opportunity to inform the general public about the activities necessary to care for, restore and protect the gardens, in view of a major national enhancement plan. A hope that is finally reflected in the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, which contains measures in favor of the heritage of Italian parks and gardens.
