This weekend, Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June, Appuntamento in Giardino returns, the initiative promoted by APGI for the promotion of the natural beauty of our country.
Together with the Gardens of Villa della Pergola there are many excellences that make our Liguria region an unmissable destination for lovers of greenery and beauty.
Like every year, Appuntamento in Giardino returns, an initiative promoted by the APGI-Associazione Parchi e Giardini d'Italia, scheduled for Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd June 2024, with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and ANCI-National Association of Italian Municipalities.
Also this year the Gardens of Villa della Pergola, together with other entities in Liguria, will participate in the two days of discovery of the green heritage and the stories that lie behind these wonders.
The event, conceived as an authentic 'garden festival', was created in accordance with the Rendez-vous aux jardins initiative, which will take place simultaneously in over 20 European countries and has the aim of inviting the general public to discover the surprising historical, artistic, botanical and landscape richness of Italian gardens, it is an opportunity to introduce the public to gardens that are normally closed and to enrich the possibilities of enjoying gardens that are regularly open.
Gardeners, botanists, landscapers, private owners and public managers, important foundations and associations with the aim of describing the universe of the garden, its fragility, its cultural and environmental relevance, its importance for the well-being of individuals and the community.

The five senses at the Gardens of Villa della Pergola are constantly stimulated, during each visit, at any time of the year. And for this occasion a special surprise at the end of the visit!
The destinations of Liguria
Together with the Gardens of Villa della Pergola there will be nine other Ligurian destinations where you can spend a weekend dedicated to greenery, nature and discovery. Among these, some are part of the FAI or, like the Gardens of Villa della Pergola, of Grandi Giardini Italiani, the network that unites the most beautiful botanical gardens in the country.
